Let’s Turn it Around

We are losing too many of our young people to violence. Every day a young person is killed and one or two more are going to prison. At least two families are devastated by each of these unfortunate events. Let’s ask ourselves, “Is there something I can do to change this situation?

For starters, let’s reach out the the young people in our family and community. A smile, a kind word, a helping hand, or a few dollars can make a difference in a young person’s life. I think many kids feel unloved and unworthy. They don’t think they matter. We can show them that they do. What about you will you do something this week to encourage a young person?
